A Thousand Splendid Sun’s : Khaled Hosseini

It intends to deal with the plight of women in Afghanistan . Focuses on mothers and daughters, and friendships between women. It brings out clearly hoe the women are downtrodden in Afghanistan and reading we get the impression that even women are treated worse than cattle there .Overall a masterpiece and a fast running story which depicts the hardships of woman as a mother , wife , daughter and a friend .

We the living : Ayn Rand

First book of this author . Another masterpiece which deals with a womans passion , Objective and struggle in adverse conditions . Also it depicts the political situation in russia during the period the book was written . The language is great and enjoyed this thrilling novel very much .
