Met Ben yesterday , my Trekking friend from Canada. Ben has an awesome life , he is a woodcutter by profession, flies in to remote places and cuts wood. This means that he has to stay at a stretch in the wilderness. He works for a year and then travels in the next. One amazing thing he told me that all his possessions are at his mom’s place in two Cartons, that’s it.In general it is just sheer awesomeness.I am planning a trip to Alaska with him sometime in a year or two.My trip to Nepal was a revelation to me and in many aspects it was important at this stage of life. I have become conscious and will save money properly for travel. I will try to get away from buying expensive stuff and try to just fit in the travel part somewhere.

Talking to the butter milk seller today came to know a few things of his life. Random talks are necessary in life and must be done , it gives you snippets of interesting stories to recall. If you take an auto rickshaw, do indulge in conversation and then you will know how one is different from another. You get the idea of their economics for e.g in Delhi in a night shift a person has to pay 250 bucks to the owner , 150 for petrol and anything above it is his income. Ideally night workers get an average of 3 customers all night but then it has to be done because the auto is available only in the night. The buttermilk guy uses RO water and interestingly mentions that everyone drinks that water in villages these days.

I am back to a regular running routine. Just imagine waking up at 5 , running , coming back and going to work . I do it because the run elevates me and takes me to a high. Work is great , i am enjoying it , though i don’t slog much.  That stage of the first few days at work is over and have made friends. Weekends are fun with so many people around , everytime something or the other pops up.Between waking up and sleeping life is going on but the good part is that there is a purpose and probably it cannot be written in a few lines here. But i know and i am aware of the purpose and just moving on slowly towards it.
