Notes on a Birth Day

There is nothing very special about a birth day. The fixation on one day of a year is beyond my comprehension . For me as a person i suffer from an irrestible desire of freedom. Good thing is over the years it has increased probably the very reason i feel too alive today. This post is not at all to grab attention , one needs to write from time to time and somehow i found enough time to do so , sitting in one desolate corner of Fatehpur Sikri. Between real thanks for wishing and real regards if you manage to read till the end of this post.

A realization dawned that except for a few people no body gives a cowdung about you. A lot of you have probably swallowed the fact already. You have my deepest sympathies. I have realized this too.

On living your own life: People will mostly categorize you as someone in delusion. It is truley a difficult daunting task. It may lead to bankruptcy , self doubt and denial . But if you can muster the courage you are on the right path much closer to true happiness. Don’t hesitate or worry , once you run out of money you start writing poems.

On Magic: The day i saw my paper plane fly i started believing in magic. In fact right from sunrise to sunset and beyond everything is magical. Probably take a ride on merry go round on a star studded night , you may also start believing in magic.

On books : Books probably contain the entire spectrum of human endeavour. I respect authors , the Tolstoys , Karouacs , types ; frankly a lot of education has happened due to them. Find a corner, a cup of tea and a good book , soon you will stop worrying about a One Plus One invite.

On meditation : Google cannot answer all the questions of your life. Meditating is a much better cleanser than the plethora of cosmetics available in the market.

On world : This world is a beautiful place and not everything happening around is bad , especially not at all the picture that a news bulletin gives you. Have faith , blind people are still crossing the busiest roads.

On Travel : This life was never meant to be spent in the same state , get inspired by the Earth , it is always in motion. It is also not meant to be traveled with the same set of people either. Open your horizons for new experiences . For starters traceling may probably make you look cool.

On Freedom : Elephants when small are tethered with heavy chains. As they grow up they are eventually tied by their handlers with a small chain. With the whole conditioning they forget their strength and continue in bondage. Don’t let that happen to you after all your life is not a bond of Fevicol that it will never break.

On the current state of affairs: The entire world appears to be under construction. New roads , flyovers , projects malls etc. We have in fact been destroying stuff incesaantly to satisfy our means. Sadly we have not realized from our past that this is not the solution.We will soon make a future where everyone would need masks a different type.

On my life : I wake up early , prepare a cup of tea with a pinch of coffee. I go for running even when i do not feel so. I love cooking my own food and to save time cook 2-3 helpings at one go. I am real proud of my red sauce pasta.Beyond this it is the usual life. However one important fact is that i have stopped giving a fuck.
