“Never Hide your Wings”
Butterflies and caterpillars are preyed upon by birds, spiders, lizards and various other animals. Largely defenseless against many of these hungry predators, they have developed a number of passive ways to protect themselves. One way is by making themselves inconspicuous through the use of camouflage.
Was trekking in the Sharavati valley in India. It was a hot day spent in deep deep forest and the better part of it was spent cautiously walking on the slippery rocks by the river. There came a point where I though , lets take a dip in the flowing river. It is here that i found a beautiful butterfly sitting on the socks. It is a thing of nature that matches the butterfly to its surroundings, after all only in the wild will one realize that survival is the only instinct here. On a lighter note I think fashion enthusiasts would get awed by the match of the socks and butterfly color. In the background you could find my specs.
Between nothing like a dip after a hot day’s work.
